Press release: The Honorary President Romatom takes over the position of Vice-President Foratoma

 

The Romanian atomic forum ("Romatom") welcomes the appointment of the honorary president Romatom, Mr.Teodor Chirica, in the capacity of vice president of the European Atomic Forum ("Foratoma"), following the General Assembly Foratoma on June 20, 2016. Mr.Teodor Chirica is an expert in the nuclear field, with a rich experience in project management, occupying over time executive positions within the Romanian and foreign companies responsible for the implementation of nuclear projects.Mr.Teodor Chirica is a member of the Executive Committee of Foratom since 2006, the position from which it has contributed to the promotion of nuclear technologies at European level, the elaboration of European energy strategies and policies, subsequently involved in the consulting process for the realization of the energy strategy of Romania 2016-2030 with the perspective of the year 2050.

The drill represents the forum of the European nuclear industry, whose purpose is to support national nuclear programs, to represent the interests of the nuclear industry in the dialogue with European legislative institutions, to provide information, experience and benchmarking in order to align and improve the aspects related to safety in energy supply, nuclear security,Environmental protection, development research and informing public opinion.Foritoma represents over 800 companies in Europe operating in the nuclear field and related fields.
