The longest process equipment, made in Romania, will be delivered from the IMGB platform, by a Romatom member

 

The Romanian Atomic Forum ("Romatom") welcomes the achievement of Walter Tosto WTB, a Romatom member, who made three process columns in Romania, on the IMGB industrial platform, intended for use in an Alexandria refinement, Egypt.

The largest of the columns - Deisohexanizer Tray Column (deisohexanization) - measures 68 meters in length, 7.5 meters in diameter and has a weight of over 360 tons.The production of the columns lasted 11 months, the design and production being made by Walter Tosto WTB.

The transport of columns will be done with the help of special equipment from Walter Tosto WTB on the Danube - Port Constanta - Beneficiary.

Walter Tosto WTB is a company specialized in the production of equipment for the oil and gas industry, petrochemistry, chemistry and nuclear industry.One of the global investments, of major importance, for which the Italian company is one of the important suppliers, is the ITER project, which involves the design, execution and assembly of the largest nuclear reactor based on the fusion technology of atoms.Walter Tosto has already executed and delivered component parts of this reactor, whose assembly phases are in full swing.
