
We are pleased to announce official confirmation of Romatom as a member of the European Industrial Alliance for small modular reactors (European Industrial Alliance on SMRS).Romatom has already received the invitation to participate in the first General Assembly, which will be organized in Brussels, at the end of May.
Romatom participation as a member of the European Industrial Alliance on SMRS is a significant stage for the nuclear industry in Romania and represents a recognition of our continuous commitment for innovation and technological development.
Joining this alliance at European level, as well as our status as members within Nucleareurope, will allow us to take important steps in the direction of promoting Supply Chain in Romania and will accelerate the implementation of SMR solutions in Europe, thus contributing to the green energy transition.
We enjoy this achievement and we are excited to be able to use this new partnership at European level to bring benefits within our community.By strengthening the cooperation at the EU, the Alliance will accelerate the first SMR in the EU until the early 2030s.
