Nuclear energy should belong to the past.Here is what the ecological organization Greenpeace Romania says, 30 years after the tragedy at the atomic power plant in Chernobyl.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nuclear energy should be replaced with energy from renewable sources, the Campaign coordinator from Greenpeace, Ionu\u0163 Ceprag, says: \"Our message is that nuclear energy should belong to the past and that due to the high risks it implies, we should already focus on energy to replace nuclear energy.\"<\/p>\n

\"Unfortunately, the initial sarcophagus (from Chernobyl) has very large cracks, so it is no longer reliable. If we retained correctly, from European money a second sarcophag should be made, to cover all that power plant. The danger is still quite high. It is not recommended to go to the area, not even a tourist, even as a tourist,Cepraga.<\/p>\n

But not everyone agrees that nuclear energy should be given up.The president of the Romanian Atomic Forum (Romatom), Ioan Rotaru: \u201cI cannot agree with this statement and the current evolution of nuclear energy programs in the world demonstrates this. A country like the United Arab Emirates has a nuclear power plant with four units, started three years ago, a country that has other resources, which has another country, which has a country, which has another country,I do not go too far in Europe, Belarus builds a nuclear power station with two units (...).<\/p>\n

The balance of the nuclear catastrophe from Chernobyl on April 26, 1986 is uncertain, some experts speak of 25 thousand dead, while others believe that it is hundreds of thousands, even millions of radiation victims.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
