{"id":7332,"date":"2025-11-28T09:46:01","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T09:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/romatom.ro\/?post_type=eveniment&#038;p=7332"},"modified":"2025-11-28T10:03:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-28T10:03:09","slug":"romatom-la-wne-paris-2025","status":"publish","type":"eveniment","link":"https:\/\/romatom.ro\/en\/eveniment\/romatom-la-wne-paris-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"ROMATOM at WNE Paris 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ROMATOM at WNE Paris 2025: Strategic Partnerships, Joint Message Ahead of COP30, and High-Level Institutional &amp; Commercial Dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Paris, 7 November 2025<\/strong>\u00a0ROMATOM \u2013 the Romanian Atomic Forum concluded its participation at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2025 with substantial results for the Romanian nuclear industry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>strengthening bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>joining \u2014 alongside 17 trade associations and international organizations \u2014 a joint declaration ahead of COP30 to triple global nuclear capacity by 2050,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>a series of institutional meetings and technical discussions with traditional partners and new players on the global market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The WNE event took place at Paris-Nord Villepinte between 4\u20136 November 2025.\nFor the first time, ROMATOM participated with a pavilion sponsored by the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARICE).<\/p>\n<p>1) Strengthening ROMATOM \u2013 NIA (UK) Cooperation<\/p>\n<p>On the sidelines of WNE, on 4 November, ROMATOM and the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) signed a\u00a0<strong>a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong>\u00a0that opens an expanded collaboration agenda between the nuclear industries of Romania and the United Kingdom.\nThe document covers:\nnuclear reactor projects based on fission, fusion research, decommissioning and waste management, medical applications through radioisotopes, research &amp; development projects across the full spectrum of technologies in Romania, the UK, and international markets.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRomania and the United Kingdom share a commitment to clean and reliable nuclear energy, a pillar of energy security. Our members are here to translate into reality the vision of European representatives \u2014 your vision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope this vision will evaluate each available technology based on the benefits it brings to the population, and that we will thus observe CO\u2082 reductions as a direct consequence. Nuclear energy is a safe, affordable, zero-emissions technology. A simplified, harmonized, innovation-friendly legislative and regulatory framework is needed across Europe.
