ROMATOM pursues essential objectives for the development and consolidation of the nuclear industry in Romania. These objectives are intended to support both the domestic and international markets, promoting innovation, cooperation and accurate information. Here are ROMATOM's main directions of action:

To achieve these two main objectives, the activity of the Romanian Atomic Forum ROMATOM aims to:

Correct information: Correctly informing national and local decision-makers, the population and the media about the use of nuclear energy.

Common strategy: Contribution to the development of the strategy for the nuclear industry in Romania, targeting both the domestic and international markets.

Legislative initiatives: Promoting legislative initiatives to support the national energy program and the nuclear industry.

Cooperation: Facilitating cooperation to achieve common nuclear industry goals.

Exchange of ideas: Ensuring a rapid flow of information and exchange of ideas in the nuclear field, both domestically and abroad, for the benefit of members.

International cooperation: Collaboration with similar structures, both from Romania and abroad.

Technical-scientific and awareness events in society: Organization of high-level events, round tables, symposiums, seminars, conferences and exhibitions.

New technology: Promoting new and efficient technologies in the use of nuclear energy and energy in general.

Technical information: Widely informing the Romanian technical and scientific community about technical innovations and historical evolution in the field of nuclear energy.
