COMES is recognized as the leading Romanian manufacturer of heavy-duty heat transfer and pressure equipment for the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, energy, and nuclear industries.

With over 50 years of manufacturing experience, the company designs, executes, and delivers complex static equipment weighing up to 250 tons, serving more than 45 countries worldwide.

In addition to equipment production, COMES undertakes turnkey complex projects, which include:

Design, execution, and installation of machinery;
Civil works and site development;
Installation of interconnection pipelines;
Electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems;
Complete testing and commissioning.

Founded in 1977 as a manufacturer of machinery and spare parts for the Săvinești industrial platform, the company was reorganized in 1991 as a joint-stock company under the name Come Săvinești (Special Mechanical Equipment Company).

Today, COMES operates 5 boiler shops and 3 mechanical processing halls, capable of producing large-scale equipment with:

Weights of up to 250 tons per unit;
Lengths of up to 60 meters per section;
Wall thicknesses of up to 140 mm;
Diameters of up to 6 meters;
Working pressures of up to 450 bar.

In 2025, the company will complete a new investment project aimed at modernizing and expanding production capabilities by building a new boiler hall for equipment up to 250 tons. This initiative continues the company’s ongoing investments and modernization in:

Production spaces;
Welding equipment and machinery;
Control and testing systems.

COMES’ professionalism is supported by welders and control operators certified according to international standards, as well as an in-house laboratory for destructive and non-destructive testing, accredited to international standards.
