Romatom announces with regret the passing of Mr. Gheorghe Lucaciu, a founding member of Romatom, general secretary and later executive director.

Mr. Lucaciu had a significant contribution to the development of the Romatom organization and to promote the interests of the Romanian nuclear industry both nationally and abroad.

Romatoma members are deeply grateful and honors him for his entire career, involvement and devotion in support of the development of the Romanian nuclear program.
